What class should I take If I want to learn self-defense?
July 22, 2010
Soon I will be living on my own (and for safety reassurance) I want to be able to defend myself If I’m ever attacked.
Should I take a self defense class, krav maga, martial arts, kickboxing? Or something else?

I would personally prefer kickboxing. This is the most simple way of learning self defense. Just patch this up with any other techniques. The least, buy a pepper spray or stun gun. This will surely help you in times of trouble.
Karate, Tai Chi.
Chinese Kungfu.
Korean Takuando.
Japanese Judo.
Indian Yoga.
Brazilian karate.
Italian Ballet.
i am 16, i have had experiences with attackers.
i started when i was 5.
i was in 3 fighting classes.
i took Tae-Qwon Do, Karate, and Martial Arts.
I have used what i learned many times outside of class.
I do believe its needed, so i would.
Martial Arts was a lot of fun, prolly that?
Kickboxing is probably the best one for self defense on the street.
all the karate and all those other martial arts except for muay thai, don’t work on the street when your getting attack! muay thai is good for street attacks!
but then again that’s just me and what I think!
you need quick effective defense when attacked wherever you need moves and hits that will work there’s videos out there that will teach you that and are way cheaper than classes!
just kick the dude in the nuts and run away.
Self-defense(short, cheap, and teaches simple easy maneuvers) and either get a dog, or firearm/tazer/pepper spray
