Why are females taught to squeeze a mans testicles in self defense?

Why are females taught to do this in self defense?? It can cause death and if a female is defending her self from a male who isn’t trying to kill or rape her, she will get in trouble if she kills him.

I read how it’s taught in self defense classes and how it can cause death, so is this really something we should be teaching in those classes??

You aren’t allowed to kill someone in self defense, only if they are trying to kill you.

First, you are unlikely to get a chance to "squeeze" a man’s testicles in self defense. Maybe strike, knee or kick.

And no, you (probably) won’t kill him by doing it. I’ve never heard of any verifiable case where someone died as a direct consequence of a groin hit. There are reports of death from internal organ ruptures — bladder or intestines — due to low kicks, stomps or knees. But that is another matter.

If you miss, expect to get the beating of your life. If you hit, you’ll have a pretty good chance of escaping if he doesn’t have a high pain threshold.

Also, self defense isn’t about what you are "allowed" to do. Are you a slave? Do you have a master somewhere who has told you what you are allowed or not allowed to do? Self defense is about using or threatening necessary violence to protect your person, your liberty or your property (or those of someone in your care). If you have to stop and think about what is allowed or not, then you are not going to be able to defend yourself in an emergency. You’ll hesitate, and that will be the end of it.

You must overcome that, and train for success.

if a woman touched my balls in a violent manner i would first break her nose with a hammer fist, then blind her in one or both eyes depending on if she damaged me.

Who cares?! If he’s attacking a woman who cares if he dies?! I doubt that’s true though. I think it would just cause damage and pain… and rightfully so!

And if a man is attacking a woman or trying to rape her… and she kills him… NO, she would not be in trouble! She had no idea how far he was going to go. Maybe he ultimately would have killed her. I would certainly KILL a man if I could and he was attacking or raping me. No regrets about that if it happened. I’d say he got what was coming to him.

I take martial arts. We learn plenty of lethal techniques – neck breaking techniques, choking techniques, eye gouging techniques, etc. It’s assumed that the person being taught will know the appropriate time to use such a technique, if ever.

Lethal techniques and particularly nasty ones are definitely not for use in a fight on the street. I’ve been taught to run first, if possible. But if something really happens (and we hope it doesn’t) it’s good to know how to do these things in self defense.

Most women only use self defense on a male attacker if they believe they’re physical well being is in danger. I don’t mean to sound cold or harsh, but if a man is attacking a woman, he deserves anything he gets. If you don’t want your testicles squeezed then don’t bother anyone.

Ow man. I can’t believe you can write that without puking. Oh god now that image is in my head. Any chick who does that has no soul dude. Ahhhhhh Maaaaaaan. No reasonable answer here people sorry. Just had to express my pain. And it didn’t even happen to me. Ok women? Ok? Think about it. If it causes this just hearing it and imagining it, imagine the intensity of the excruciating pain we would feel if you ever did that. Even slightly.

I don’t have to determine whether or not you are trying to kill me before I can defend myself.

You have the wrong information. And it rarely causes death, just enough pain to drop you to your knees so I can run.

Well it is possible for a man to die from getting testicles squeezed.
