Is it still considered self defense if someone intervenes a fight?
August 19, 2010
I got into a fist fight with my sister (which I started), and her husband comes in the middle of the fight and starts choking me. At this point I could not hit my sister bad, but not only did I have her punching me and pulling my hair, but I had her husband choking me at the same time, and this lasted about 10 seconds. So, I know that her punches were self defense, but what about her husband choking me?

no no no…this is all wrong! what the hell u want to physically attack yr sister 4? what type of upbringing do u come from! your blood is the most important part of yr life…if anything you protect yr family! dosent make any difference how angry u are…u just dont attack each other! and your brother in law should have stepped in and separated the two of u! not put his hands around yr neck! shows what sort of person he is to do that to a woman! bad news!! if anything he could b charged wth attempted murder….self defence dosent come in2 this in my oppinion yr both heathens……
57 points and this lame story?
You are a TROLL.
HE was defending a person who was being ATTACKED.
It was not self defense.
You were the attacker.
You don’t have enough brain cells.
no. doesnt really sound like self defense it would be considered self defense, if you hit him by accident without him knowing and he choked you.
god.. what happened to the world :/ guys choking girls.. wtf.
Hello, that cannot be self defence.
If her husband is holding you by the throat and choking you and your sister is taking the opportunity to punch you – they are assaulting you.
