The real question you should be asking is how many people that were victims of violent crimes wish they had a gun at the time of the incident. That would give you an honest analysis. I am a man of small body and I know I need something to equalize myself against unknown criminals. I have gone many times to a shooting range to practice my accuracy, which makes me confident that once I use it, I know I will hit my target.
