Do these articles illuminate the need for a global Male's rights revolution?

now keep in mind, in england women live 5 years longer but retire 5 years EARLIER…so men work longer, live shorter, and receive less benefits (like cancer funding)
there was even a proposal to lower all womens taxes…
so a woman who makes 100,000 a year pays less taxes and retires younger than a man who makes 50,000 a year….equality?
I could of course list conscripted, circumcision, cancer funding rates, divorce courts, unequal kail sentences, self defense laws, government programs, family courts….all which favor women at men’s expense.
But I think those articles very well capture the growing war against men in the west.
I’m calling for a global Male’s rights revolution, consisting of an international coalition of national movements.

Recommendations for what mma would fit this best, if any?
December 21, 2010
I am 31yo;work part time/take college classes to advance Assoc.Degree;married w.6yo son. Here is my? My Papaw was a veteran including service in Vietnam.Him & my Mamaw raised me.He was in the 82nd Airborne,Div.503.The point to this background info is that he taught me some basic fighting styles as I was growing up.Mainly things that if a man ever tried to hurt me,enough to defend myself and get away. And basically just having the ability to defend yourself in a confrontation, but not ‘pick’a fight. He was smaller, very quick,agile/good balance.I am the opposite;I am CLUMSY and curvy (size 12 in womens jeans) so LOTS of what he would have taught me if I had been more natural at it or perhaps even a boy, I didnt learn. Lots of what he taught me involved throwing elbows and knees instead of actual punches and kicks, but punches were involved & he and I both worked out w/his speed bag and heavy bag for fun. Also, lots of it was how to get away if someone gets you that is stronger. I recently started making some changes in my life, one of which was getting sober.I was hooked on prescription painkillers, went to rehab and now am in outpatient at a Methadone clinic. It is going good, have been sober since June. I have lots of hobbies, but really the only exercise I get is walking my Rott and it is REALLY cold here now (southern Indiana) and me and the dog go out just on short trips around the block now as opposed to walks. I wanted more exercise AND a new hobby to help me in my sobriety.I signed up for a "Women’s Self Defense" class.I enjoyed it a LOT,but basically the guy running it told me he couldnt teach me anything I didnt know. He recommended some sort of beginners in some form of MMA. My ? is what style , if any, would match building onto what I was already taught/refreshers? I really dont know anything about this,I just didnt know what form of hand to hand he was taught(he passed away 7 yrs ago) when he was in the Army that matches what he taught me. As I said , I know next to nothing about this sport, so I apologize if I used any incorrect terminology. I just am at a loss as to where to start. There was a HUGE variety of options. Any suggestions or hints would be appreciated!! I really want it as a form of exercise and to brush up on my skills, not really to fight outside of sparring for training purposes as well. Also, are there classes just for women or are the classes mixed or does it depend on the facility? THANK YOU PS My hubby is totally supportive; he boxes and I know I have NO interest in that and also he doesnt want to try and tell me what to take in case I dont like it. As stated earlier, some style involving lots of thrown elbows, knees, and head butts. Some ground. Some submission escape.
SORRY SHOULD Have been more specific. I just was saying that is was the general kind I learned. And I do have guns. My personal choice that I carry is a Browning HIPower 9mm it is a good fit for my hand. I guess I came to the wrong place to ask this ? and or wasnt specific enough. I am not an idiot. If a GUY grabs me, I am gonna kick him in the balls and run. I guess I was too vague. I am sorry. It is really not about learning any new self defense tactics; just an interesting form of exercise and a new hobby.
