Does it seem affective? If you were ever assaulted,, do you think you could fight the person off? Is it worth taking a class. Im just wondering cuz im a bit parnoid with stuff that have been happening latly on the news like rape and kidnapping and im wondering if a self defense class will help.

People join martial arts because they’re easily influenced. If I take martial arts. I’ll be able to fight like bruce lee! Well how many people in martial arts can fight efficiently? As in, multiple attackers, armed attackers, larger attackers, what if you’re wounded, does martial arts teach you to defend yourself while you’re wounded? Martial arts seem to have alot of flash and bs forms

Which is the best form of non lethal self defense?

I need to know the best form of self defense wherein we do not have to attack the opponent and just use his moves to beat himself i.e. that is turn his moves on himself. Time required to train doesn’t matter so please don’t suggest quickest learned techniques.IMPORTANT- The technique must be non lethal ie- no breaking of joints or bones or death punches.
