Anyone have any free self-defense systems I can accsess online or any links?
Right, well. I know I wont learn a martial art over the internet. But there must be some good techniques, or street-defense videos somewhere. I already do Shodokan Aikido, have done a bit of Judo and Boxing and hoping to go into Kung-Fu Kickboxing.

Most martial arts give their practitioners a licence to register their bodies as lethal weapons when they reach a particular belt or level in their particular discipline, what is this level in Mixed Martial Arts if they have a licence?

Why do people wanna learn self defense in martial arts?

Why do people want self defense instead of the sport of the martial art? I rarely ever see anybody getting into a fight or somebody comes up to them for trouble. I have probably been in 4 fights my whole life ( i’m 14) which isn’t really alot and none of them have ever been some really serious type of fights. I can understand if you live in a bad neighborhood or are in a poor country but for people who live in america and grow up in good neighborhood why do you want to fight instead of doing the sport instead?
