Can you list the different types of self defense?

I want to know all the diff types of self defense. List like this

Karate – japanese
Kung fu – chinese
Muay thai – thai

And so on..thanks! I just think its interesting how diff cultures have their way of self defense. i’m learning karate currently.

Would a black belt in martial arts help in law enforcement?

Just curious. Ive been in a martial arts class for almost 3 years and am about to get my black belt. I am planning without a doubt in going into law enforcement in the future, so just curious if this would help at all with anything, besides knowing how to fight?
